SUPREME COURT OF QUEENSLAND ACT 1991 - SECT 16

(1) The court is divided into—

(a) the office of the Chief Justice; and

(b) 2 divisions, namely, the Court of Appeal and the Trial Division.

(2) The Chief Justice may sit as, and exercise the powers and perform the functions of, a judge in either division of the court.
