Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated ActsSubject to the provisions of this Act, the provisions of the Land Act 1962 which apply to leases deemed pursuant to part 7, division 3 of that Act to be leases for terms of years shall, with and subject to all necessary adaptations apply to a freeholding lease and for that purpose--
(a) a reference to the Minister in that Act shall be read and construed as a reference to the Minister charged with the administration of this Act;
(b) a reference to the Department of Lands or to the department in that Act shall be read and construed as a reference to the commission.
