Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) For section 9(a)(iii), it is recognised that, although the operation or use of transport infrastructure may have significantly adverse environmental impacts, the operation and use are necessary for the community's environmental, social and economic wellbeing.
(2) However, it is intended that, within the objective of this chapter, any significantly adverse environmental impacts resulting from the operation or use of transport infrastructure be progressively reduced to the extent that it is practicable to do so.
