Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) If an authorised person has seized a thing that has been used in relation to the transport of dangerous goods by rail, without limiting section 126, the authorised person may make the thing inoperable.
Example of making equipment inoperable—
dismantling equipment or removing a component of equipment without which the equipment is not capable of being used
(2) A person must not tamper with the equipment that has been made inoperable without an authorised person's written approval.
Maximum penalty—150 penalty units.
(3) In this section—
tamper includes attempt to tamper.
