Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) If a person's authorising document issued by the chief executive is damaged, lost or stolen, the person must notify the chief executive, as soon as practicable, in the way prescribed under a regulation.
Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.
(2) In this section—
damaged, in relation to an authorising document—
(a) means—
(i) the document is damaged to an extent that—
(A) any information on the document is impossible or difficult to read without the use of technology; or
(B) a digital photo or a digitised signature on the document is impossible or difficult to recognise without the use of technology; or
(ii) any information stored electronically on the document is no longer accessible by using the holder's PIN; and
(b) includes destroyed.
