Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) Upon application for a renewal of a licence made in accordance with the regulations and 2 weeks prior to the expiration of the period of duration of the licence and upon payment of the prescribed fee, the chief executive shall renew the licence if the chief executive is satisfied that the provisions of this Act applicable thereto have been complied with and the holder thereof continues to be an appropriate person to hold the licence.
(2) When deciding whether or not the holder continues to be an appropriate person to hold the licence, the chief executive must have regard to any report of the commissioner of the police service given under section 36 about the holder or, if the holder is a corporation, any of the holder's executive officers.
