Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) A declaration regulation must make an interim land use plan regulating development in the urban development area declared under it.
(2) The plan may provide for any matter mentioned in section 23(2)(a) or (3).
(3) Until a development scheme for the area takes effect, the plan has effect as if a development scheme were in force for the area and the interim land use plan was the land use plan included in the development scheme.
(4) To remove any doubt, it is declared that a reference to a land use plan in section 23 or 35 is taken not to include a reference to an interim land use plan that takes effect under subsection (3) as the land use plan.
