Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) If a court convicts a person of an offence against this Act or a vegetation clearing offence, the court may order the person to pay the department's reasonable costs of investigating the offence, including reasonable costs of preparing for the prosecution of the offence.
Examples of reasonable costs—
1 obtaining and analysing remotely sensed images
2 costs of travelling for departmental officers and experts
(2) Subsection (1) does not limit the orders for costs the court may make.
