Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) The exclusivity period, for a race wagering licence, is the period starting on the commencement of this section and ending--
(a) 15 years after the commencement; or
(b) if, within the period of 15 years, a race wagering licence held by UNiTAB or a UNiTAB subsidiary is cancelled, surrendered or ceases to have effect for another reason (other than suspension)--on the day the licence is cancelled, surrendered or otherwise ceases to have effect.
(2) The exclusivity period, for a sports wagering licence, is the period starting on the commencement of this section and ending--
(a) 15 years after the commencement; or
(b) if, within the period of 15 years, a sports wagering licence held by UNiTAB or a UNiTAB subsidiary is cancelled, surrendered or ceases to have effect for another reason (other than suspension)--on the day the licence is cancelled, surrendered or otherwise ceases to have effect.
