Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) The chief executive must decide each claim for compensation within 60 business days after the day the claim is made.
(2) The chief executive must, within 10 business days after the day the claim is decided—
(a) give the claimant an information notice; and
(b) if the decision is to pay compensation—advise in the notice the amount of the compensation to be paid.
