South Australian Consolidated Acts South Australian Consolidated Acts57A—Approval of brands by approved authority
(1) Notwithstanding
any other provision of this Act, the owner of an animal that is registered
with an approved authority may brand the animal—
(a) with
a brand the design of which has been approved by the authority; and
(b) in a
position and in a manner approved by the authority.
(2) An
approved authority shall keep records of approvals given by it under this
section and shall allow the registrar to examine and to make copies of, or
take extracts from, those records.
(3) In this
section—
"approved authority" means a person, association or other body approved by the
registrar.
