South Australian Consolidated Acts219—Court may order payment of compensation
(1) If the court that
convicts a person for a contravention of a provision of this Division is
satisfied that a co-operative has suffered loss or damage as a result of the
act or omission that constituted the offence, the court may (in addition to
imposing a penalty) order the convicted person to pay a specified amount of
compensation to the co-operative.
(2) An order under
subsection (1) may be enforced as if it were a judgment of that court.
