South Australian Consolidated Acts223—Application of Corporations Act concerning officers of co-operatives
A co-operative is declared to be an applied Corporations legislation matter
for the purposes of Part 3 of the Corporations (Ancillary Provisions)
Act 2001 in relation to sections 344, 589-598 and 1307 of the
Corporations Act, subject to the following modifications:
(a) a
reference in those provisions to a company is to be read as a reference to a
co-operative;
(b) a
reference in those provisions to ASIC is to be read as a reference to the
Commission;
(c) such
other modifications (within the meaning of Part 3 of the
Corporations (Ancillary Provisions) Act 2001 ) as may be prescribed by
the regulations.
