South Australian Consolidated Acts41—Interference with approved system or equipment
(1) A person must not
interfere with an approved system or equipment with the intention of gaining a
benefit for himself, herself or another.
Maximum penalty: $10 000.
(2) A person who, in
the casino, has possession of a device designed, adapted or intended to be
used for the purpose of interfering with the proper operation of an approved
system or equipment is guilty of an offence.
Maximum penalty: $10 000.
(3) A person who, in
the casino, uses a computer, calculator or other device that assists in
projecting the outcome of an authorised game is guilty of an offence.
Maximum penalty: $10 000.
(4) A person other
than a staff member authorised by the licensee to do so must not remove cash
or gambling chips from gaming equipment.
