DAYLIGHT SAVING ACT 1971 - SECT 4

4—Reference to time

        (1)         Subject to section 4A, in relation to the prescribed period, a reference to time in any instrument or in any oral contract, stipulation or direction shall, unless the contrary intention is expressed, be taken to be a reference to South Australian summer time.

        (2)         In this section—

"instrument" means—

            (a)         an Act or an instrument made in pursuance of statutory powers; or

            (b)         a proclamation or order in Council; or

            (c)         a judgment, order, judicial direction or process; or

            (d)         an order, direction or notice given in pursuance of an executive or administrative authority; or

            (e)         a deed, contract, or other instrument.
