South Australian Consolidated Acts19—Licence to convey dangerous substances
(1) A
Competent Authority may, subject to this Act, in his or her discretion, on
application in the prescribed form and payment of the prescribed fee, grant a
licence to any person to convey any prescribed dangerous substance.
(2) A licence granted
under this section is subject to such conditions relating to—
(a) the
prescribed dangerous substance that may be conveyed; or
(b) its
conveyance; or
(c) any
other matter,
as a Competent Authority may specify by notice in writing given to the holder
of the licence.
(3) A
Competent Authority may, by notice in writing given to the holder of a licence
under this section, add to, vary or revoke any conditions of the licence.
(4) The holder of a
licence under this section who breaches, or fails to comply with, a condition
of the licence is guilty of an offence.
Maximum penalty: $10 000.
