South Australian Consolidated Acts South Australian Consolidated Acts5—Appointment of Competent Authorities
(1) The Minister may,
by notice in the Gazette—
(a)
appoint a person, officer or authority as a Competent Authority under this
Act;
(b)
revoke an earlier appointment under this section.
(2) The appointment of
an officer as a Competent Authority extends to a person who may be acting in
the position of that officer while the officer is absent from the duties of
office.
(3) A
Competent Authority has all the powers of an authorised officer under this
Act.
