South Australian Consolidated Acts51—Application orders and emergency orders
(1) The Minister may,
by notice in the Gazette, declare that the operation of the regulations, or of
specified parts of the regulations, relating to the transport of
dangerous goods—
(a) is
suspended for a specified period; or
(b) is
varied in a manner specified by the Minister.
(2) An order must be
consistent with the provisions relating to application orders and emergency
orders in the agreements scheduled to the
National Road Transport Commission Act 1991 of the Commonwealth.
(3) An order may have
effect in relation to the whole of the State, or to a specified part of the
State.
(4) If the Ministerial
Council for Road Transport terminates an order in accordance with the terms of
an agreement referred to in subsection (2), the Minister must publish
notice of the termination in the Gazette.
