South Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Governor may
make such regulations as are contemplated by this Act or as are necessary or
expedient for the purposes of this Act.
(2) Without limiting
the generality of subsection (1), the regulations may—
(a)
provide for the manner of service of notices and proceedings under this Act;
and
(b)
provide for the imposition of penalties not exceeding $1 000 if the
offender is a natural person and $5 000 if the offender is a body
corporate.
(3) Regulations
prescribing matters for the purposes of this Act may prescribe those matters
by reference to regulations for the time being in force under the
Environment Protection (Sea Dumping) Act 1981 of the Commonwealth as in
force for the time being.
