South Australian Consolidated Acts239—Institution and conduct of proceedings
(1) Where a person is
entitled to bring proceedings under this Act, the Minister may, upon the
request of that person, institute and conduct those proceedings in the name,
and on behalf, of that person.
(1a) Where proceedings
are brought for the discharge, variation or suspension of a maintenance order,
the Minister may, upon the request of the person against whom the proceedings
are brought, defend those proceedings.
(2) Any proceedings
that may be taken under this Act may be taken by an employee of the
Department.
(3) The Crown
Solicitor may represent any party in proceedings under this Act.
