South Australian Consolidated Acts8A—Criterion 1A—Applicant to be at least 18 years of age
(1) An applicant for a
first home owner grant must be at least 18 years of age.
(2) The Commissioner
may exempt an applicant from the above requirement if the Commissioner is
satisfied that:
(a) the
home to which the application relates will be occupied by the applicant as his
or her principal place of residence for a continuous period of at least
6 months (or a shorter period approved by the Commissioner), commencing
within 12 months after completion of the eligible transaction (or within a
longer period approved by the Commissioner); and
(b) the
application does not form part of a scheme to circumvent limitations on or
requirements affecting, eligibility or entitlement to a first home owner
grant.
