(1) Subject to
subsection (1a), a person may make application for a certificate of
registered security interests, if any, in respect of specified prescribed
goods.
(1a) An application
under subsection (1) may not be made following the last business day
before the registration commencement time.
(2) On receipt of an
application under subsection (1) the Registrar must issue the person with
a certificate, bearing the date and time of issue, containing—
(a) the
particulars of all registered security interests in the goods to which the
application relates; or
(b)
where there are no registered security interests in those goods, a statement
to that effect.
