HOLIDAYS ACT 1910 - SECT 4

4—Special holidays may be proclaimed

        (1)         The Governor may, by proclamation, appoint a special day to be a public holiday or bank holiday in a year either—

            (a)         throughout the State; or

            (b)         within a district or locality specified in the proclamation.

        (2)         The Governor may, by subsequent proclamation, vary or revoke a proclamation made under this section.
