(1) The portion of the
Birkenhead Bridge and its approaches vested in the Minister continues to be
under the care, control and management of the Commissioner.
(2) The portion of the
Birkenhead Bridge and its approaches vested in the council in whose area the
Bridge is situated continues to be under the care, control and management of
the council.
(3) The Commissioner
may, for the purpose of carrying out work in relation to the portion of the
Birkenhead Bridge and its approaches under the care, control and management of
the Commissioner, obstruct temporarily any right of navigation.
(4) No claim lies
against the Crown, the Commissioner or any agency or instrumentality of the
Crown arising out of any obstruction of a right of navigation by reason of
roadwork under this section.
