LIVESTOCK ACT 1997 - SECT 29

29—Bringing notifiable disease into State

A person must not, without the approval of the Chief Inspector, bring a notifiable disease into the State or cause a notifiable disease to be brought into the State.

Maximum penalty:

In the case of an exotic disease—$20 000;

In any other case—$10 000.
