South Australian Consolidated Acts91—Elected person refusing to act
A duly qualified person who, having been duly appointed or elected as a member
of a council—
(a)
refuses to assume office and to act in it; or
(b)
neglects to assume the office and to act in it for the first three ordinary
meetings of the council (without leave of the council),
is guilty of an offence.
Maximum penalty: $750.
