South Australian Consolidated Acts (1) Subject to any
provision made by another provision of this Act or by the regulations, the
Electoral Commissioner may, by notice in the Gazette—
(a)
determine the form of any voting material under this Act;
(b) make
other determinations as to the forms that are to be used for the purposes of
this Act.
(2) A determination
under subsection (1) may make different provision according to the
circumstances to which it is expressed to apply.
(3) A person must, if
relevant, use a form required by a determination of the Electoral Commissioner
under subsection (1) (and, in doing so, must comply with any relevant
requirement imposed by the Electoral Commissioner relating to the completion
of the form or the provision of information or material in association with
the form).
(4) The Electoral
Commissioner should, so far as is reasonably practicable, consult with the LGA
before making a determination under subsection (1).
