LAW OF PROPERTY ACT 1936 - SECT 95

95—Joint liability of husband and wife

A husband and wife may acquire, hold, and dispose of property jointly, or as tenants in common, and may render themselves or become rendered jointly liable in respect of any tort, contract, debt, or obligation, and may sue and be sued either in tort or in contract or otherwise in like manner as if they were not married.
