(a)
mines; or
(b)
sells, or disposes of, minerals recovered by him in the course of
mining operations, or utilises any such minerals for a commercial or
industrial purpose,
without being duly authorised by or under this Act shall be guilty of an
offence.
Maximum penalty: $250 000 or imprisonment for 2 years.
(1a) A person who
encourages, or procures the commission of an offence under subsection (1)
shall be guilty of an offence.
Maximum penalty: $250 000 or imprisonment for 2 years.
