South Australian Consolidated Acts South Australian Consolidated Acts99—Particulars relating to admission of patients to treatment centres
(1) The Minister must
ensure that the following information is provided, free of charge, to any
person who requests the information and has a proper interest in the matter:
(a)
whether or not a particular person has been admitted to, or is being detained
in, a treatment centre under this Act; and
(b) if
so, the date of the person's admission and (where applicable) the date of his
or her discharge or death.
(2) The director of a
treatment centre must, on the discharge of a person from the centre, provide
to the person, on request, free of charge, a copy of any orders, certificates
or authorisations on which he or she was admitted, detained or treated.
