For the purposes of this Act, a "special purpose area" is an area within a
marine park, identified as a special purpose area and with boundaries defined
by the management plan for the marine park, in which specified activities,
that would otherwise be prohibited or restricted as a consequence of the
zoning of the area, will be permitted under the terms of the management plan.
