REAL PROPERTY (REGISTRATION OF TITLES) ACT 1945 - SECT 2

2—Interpretation

        (1)         In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires, or some other meaning is clearly intended—

"ordinary certificate of title" means certificate of title in the form in Schedule 4 to the principal Act;

"the principal Act" means the Real Property Act 1886 and any Acts amending that Act or substituted therefor;

"the Registrar-General" means the person for the time being holding or acting in the office of Registrar-General under the principal Act;

"the Registrar-General's minutes" means the minutes of the Registrar-General referred to in section 11 of this Act.

        (2)         This Act shall apply notwithstanding the provisions of the Real Property Act 1886 .
