South Australian Consolidated Acts23—Entitlement to be process server
(1) A natural person
must not—
(a)
carry on business, or otherwise act, as a process server; or
(b)
advertise or otherwise hold himself or herself out as being entitled to carry
on business, or otherwise act, as a process server,
unless the person—
(c) is
qualified in accordance with the regulations; and
(d) has
not been convicted of an offence of a class specified by regulation in
relation to a process server.
Maximum penalty: $20 000.
(2) A process server
(whether a natural person or body corporate) must not employ a person as a
process server unless the person meets the requirements of
subsection (1).
