South Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Governor may
make such regulations as he or she considers necessary or expedient for the
purpose of giving effect to the provisions and objects of this Act.
(2) Without limiting
the generality of the provisions of subsection (1), such regulations
may—
(a)
prescribe all matters which may or ought to be prescribed for giving effect to
the provisions and objects of this Act; and
(b)
provide for the prevention of fraud in connection with lotteries and the
promotion and conduct thereof; and
(c)
provide for the payment of prizes in connection with lotteries conducted by
the Commission and the conditions under which prizes will be paid.
(3) The regulations
may fix a penalty not exceeding one thousand dollars for the breach of any
regulation.
