South Australian Consolidated Acts39—Employer to report impairment of teacher's capacity
(1) If the employer of
a practising teacher has reason to believe that the teacher's capacity to
teach is seriously impaired by an illness or disability affecting the person's
behaviour or competence as a teacher, the employer must, as soon as
practicable, submit a written report to the Teachers Registration Board—
(a)
describing the grounds on which the belief is based; and
(b)
containing all other prescribed information.
Maximum penalty: $10 000.
(2) A person incurs no
liability by making a report purportedly in compliance with
subsection (1) in good faith.
