South Australian Consolidated Acts South Australian Consolidated Acts (1) A person who
contravenes or fails to comply with a provision of this Act is guilty of an
offence.
(2) A person who is
guilty of an offence against this Act for which no penalty is specifically
provided shall be liable to a fine not exceeding $2 000.
(3) Proceedings for an
offence against this Act shall be disposed of summarily.
(3a) A prosecution for
an offence against this Act must be commenced within three years after the
date on which the offence is alleged to have been committed.
(4)
Subsection (1) does not render the Corporation, a member of the staff of
the Corporation, or any person acting on behalf of the Corporation, liable to
prosecution for any act or omission related to the administration or
enforcement of this Act.
