South Australian Consolidated Acts9—Procedures at meetings of the Committee
(1) A meeting will be
chaired by the presiding member (appointed by the Governor) or, in his or her
absence, by the deputy of the presiding member or, in the absence of both of
them by a member chosen by those present.
(2) Subject to
subsection (3), the Committee may act despite vacancies in its
membership.
(3) Four members
constitute a quorum at a meeting of the Committee.
(4) A decision in
which a majority of the members present at a meeting concur is a decision of
the Committee but if the Committee is equally divided the decision of the
person presiding at the meeting is the decision of the Committee.
(5) Subject to this
Act, the Committee may determine its own procedures.
(6) The Committee must
keep minutes of its proceedings.
