South Australia Civil Liability Regulations 2007 under the Civil Liability Act 1936 Contents 1 Short title 2 Commencement 3 Interpretation 4 Determination of State average weekly earnings (section 58) Schedule 1--Revocation of Wrongs Regulations 2002 Legislative history 1--Short title These regulations may be cited as the Civil Liability Regulations 2007. 2--Commencement These regulations will come into operation on 1 June 2007. 3--Interpretation In these regulations-- Act means the Civil Liability Act 1936. 4--Determination of State average weekly earnings (section 58) For the purposes of assessing damages to be awarded in respect of gratuitous services under section 58 of the Act in respect of a particular period, State average weekly earnings are to be determined by applying the relevant male full-time adult ordinary time earnings for South Australia as published, from time to time, by the Australian Statistician. Schedule 1--Revocation of Wrongs Regulations 2002 The Wrongs Regulations 2002 are revoked.
