COAST PROTECTION (KANGAROO ISLAND) REGULATIONS 2000 - SCHEDULE

Schedule—Land constituting part of coast

1—Interpretation

In this Schedule—

coastal land means land situated in a zone or area defined in a relevant Development Plan under the Development Act 1993 where the name of the zone or area—

            (a)         includes one or more of the following terms:

                  (i)         coast;

                  (ii)         coastal;

                  (iii)         conservation;

                  (iv)         country living;

                  (v)         general farming;

                  (vi)         landscape buffer;

                  (vii)         recreation;

                  (viii)         rural;

                  (ix)         water protection; or

            (b)         indicates or suggests in some other way that the zone or area is situated on the coast.

2—Description of land

All coastal land within the county of Carnarvon that is above and within 500 metres of the mean high water mark on the seashore at spring tides constitutes part of the coast.
