A teacher shall not—
(a) seek
political intervention in order to obtain an unfair advantage concerning his
or her promotion or transfer in the teaching service; or
(b) take
any office, perform any duties or receive any remuneration which in the
opinion of the Director-General may interfere with the proper discharge of his
or her duties to the Department.
