For the purposes of the definition of "generation" in section 4 of the
Act, the operation of a set of wires and associated fittings, equipment and
accessories installed for the conveyance, control, measurement or use of
electricity for general power and lighting in a place used for electricity
generating operations, or incidental or related to an electrical installation
is not the generation of electricity.
