South Australia Freedom of Information (General) Regulations 2002 under the Freedom of Information Act 1991 Contents 1 Short title 2 Commencement 3 Interpretation 4 Prescribed bodies 5 Manner of publishing information statements 6 Documents affecting personal affairs--prescribed period Legislative history 1--Short title These regulations may be cited as the Freedom of Information (General) Regulations 2002. 2--Commencement These regulations come into operation on the day on which they are made. 3--Interpretation In these regulations-- Act means the Freedom of Information Act 1991. 4--Prescribed bodies For the purposes of the definition of State Government agency in section 4(1) of the Act, the following bodies are prescribed as bodies that are not State Government agencies: The Flinders University of South Australia; The University of Adelaide; the University of South Australia. 5--Manner of publishing information statements For the purposes of section 9(1) and (1a) of the Act, an information statement relating to an agency must be published in one or both of the following ways: (a) in the annual report of the agency; (b) at a website maintained by the agency. 6--Documents affecting personal affairs--prescribed period Pursuant to clause 6(4) of Schedule 1 of the Act, a document that is an exempt document under clause 6 of that Schedule and that relates to or was created for the purpose or in the course of the investigation by police into the death of Dr George Duncan at Adelaide in May 1972 ceases to be so exempt on the expiration of 40 years from the date on which the document came into existence.
