(1) Pursuant to
section 221(3)(c) of the Act, the installation, maintenance, replacement or
removal of a telecommunication subscriber connection is classified as a minor
alteration to a road.
(2) In
subregulation (1)—
"telecommunication subscriber connection" means any pipes, wires, cables,
optical fibre or other material suspended above the ground and used to connect
a subscriber to a telecommunications or electronic network, and includes any
fixture or fitting directly associated with making such a connection.
