A person must not make a statement that is false or misleading in a material
particular (whether by reason of the inclusion or omission of any particular)
in a vendor declaration.
Maximum penalty/expiation fee:
(a) If
the person made the statement knowing that it was false or misleading:
Maximum penalty—$10 000.
(b) In
any other case:
Maximum penalty—$5 000.
Expiation fee—$315.
