South Australia Public Intoxication Regulations 2004 under the Public Intoxication Act 1984 Contents 1 Short title 2 Commencement 3 Interpretation 4 Declaration of substance as a drug (section 5) Legislative history 1--Short title These regulations may be cited as the Public Intoxication Regulations 2004. 2--Commencement These regulations come into operation on the day on which they are made. 3--Interpretation In these regulations, unless the contrary intention appears-- Act means the Public Intoxication Act 1984; petrol includes any volatile liquid containing hydrocarbons. 4--Declaration of substance as a drug (section 5) For the purposes of the Act, petrol is declared to be a drug.
