SECOND-HAND DEALERS AND PAWNBROKERS REGULATIONS 1998 - REG 9

9—Claim to goods in possession of second-hand dealer

        (1)         For the purposes of section 11(3)(a) of the Act, the notice must be in the form prescribed by the Schedule.

        (2)         For the purposes of section 11(3)(c) of the Act, the dealer must notify, and give a copy of the notice to—

            (a)         the member of the police force in charge of the police station nearest to the place at which the goods subject to the notice are kept; or

            (b)         a member of the police force designated for the purpose by the member in charge of the station.
