South Australia Unclaimed Goods Regulations 1998 under the Unclaimed Goods Act 1987 Contents 1 Short title 2 Commencement 3 Revocation 4 Interpretation 5 Variation of values in definitions of scale 1, scale 2 and scale 3 6 Forms Schedule 1--Notice of request for collection of goods Schedule 2--Notice of proposed sale of goods Legislative history 1--Short title These regulations may be cited as the Unclaimed Goods Regulations 1998. 2--Commencement These regulations come into operation on the day on which they are made. 3--Revocation The Unclaimed Goods Regulations 1987 (see Gazette 30.7.1987 p295) are revoked. 4--Interpretation In these regulations-- the Act means the Unclaimed Goods Act 1987. 5--Variation of values in definitions of scale 1, scale 2 and scale 3 (1) The value of $100 referred to in the definitions of scale 1 and scale 2 in section 3(1) of the Act is varied to $200. (2) The value of $500 referred to in the definitions of scale 2 and scale 3 in section 3(1) of the Act is varied to $1 000. 6--Forms (1) A notice for the purposes of section 5(2)(d)(ii) of the Act must be in the form set out in Schedule 1. (2) A notice for the purposes of section 6(5)(b) of the Act must be in the form set out in Schedule 2.
