South Australian Repealed ActsThis legislation has been repealed.
(1) The Governor may
make such regulations as are contemplated by this Act or as are necessary or
expedient for the purposes of this Act.
(2) Without limiting
the generality of the foregoing those regulations may—
(a)
prescribe qualifications, experience and other requirements for the purpose of
the registration of any person or class of persons on the general or
specialist register; and
(b)
prescribe and provide for the recovery of any fee for the purposes of this
Act; and
(c)
prescribe information that shall be included in a register maintained under
this Act; and
(d)
prescribe any form for the purposes of this Act; and
(e)
regulate, restrict or prohibit the publication of advertisements by or on
behalf of medical practitioners; and
(f)
prescribe requirements to be observed by companies registered under this Act;
and
(g)
prescribe penalties, not exceeding five thousand dollars, for breach of, or
non-compliance with, a regulation.
(3) This section is in
addition to, and does not derogate from, any other provision of this Act
providing for the making of regulations.
