224A—Power to include portions of district in water districts under
Waterworks Act
Notwithstanding any provision of this Act, the Governor may, in exercise of
the powers conferred by section 6 of the Waterworks Act 1932 , from time
to time by proclamation made pursuant to the said section declare any part of
the Renmark Irrigation District to be a water district or to be included in a
water district for the purposes of the Waterworks Act 1932 . A
proclamation for the purpose aforesaid shall be made only on the
recommendation of the trust.
