South Australian Repealed ActsThis legislation has been repealed.
(1) The trust called
The Renmark Irrigation Trust is hereby continued.
(2) The trust shall
continue to be a body corporate, and shall have perpetual succession, and
shall by its corporate name be capable of suing and being sued, of purchasing,
holding, and alienating land, of doing all acts necessary or expedient for
carrying out the purposes of this Act, and of doing and suffering, subject to
this Act, all such other acts and things as bodies corporate may by law do and
suffer.
(3) Every reference in
any Act, or in any deed, document, or other writing of any kind to the Renmark
Irrigation Trust No. 1 shall be deemed to be a reference to the Renmark
Irrigation Trust, and the body corporate called the Renmark Irrigation Trust
shall for all purposes be deemed to be the same body corporate as the body
corporate called the Renmark Irrigation Trust No. 1.
(4) The district of
the trust shall be called "The Renmark Irrigation District". Every reference
in any Act or in any deed, document, or other writing of any kind to "The
Renmark Irrigation District No. 1" shall be deemed to be a reference to the
Renmark Irrigation District.
